Gary W. Parker, Commander, U.S. Navy (Retired)Parker Aviation, LLC is a flight training and aviation education company based at Quonset State Airport, in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.

Parker Aviation was founded in the summer of 2011 by Gary W. Parker, a retired United States Naval Aviator.  Gary has over 30 years of flying experience and nearly 3,500 flight hours in over one-dozen civilian and military airplanes.

Gary has taught and trained hundreds of military and civilian aviators from the United States and around the world.  He’s taught in aircraft ranging from the Cessna 152, to the Beechcraft Super King Air and the Grumman F-14A Tomcat.

Gary teaches basic flying and aviation fundamentals along with the most advanced operational concepts and challenging flight maneuvers.  His teaching techniques and his training programs represent the state-of-the art of fundamental and advanced flight training.  All students, pilots, and flight instructors-under-instruction receive personalized coaching and mentoring along with a tailor-made flight training syllabus based on their aviation goals.

Parker Aviation is the school where you will be thoroughly and intensely prepared to fly airplanes. The mission of the school is to create pilots who are capable of excelling in their private flying as well as in commercial aviation and military service.

Gary teaches pilots at the FAA Private Pilot and Instrument Airplane levels of certification. He also offers flight instructor candidates a Spin Certification and a “Flight Instructor Teaching and Learning” course that he has developed after three tours as a military flight instructor.
